Three Facts About Me:

  1. I’m REALLY short. And when I say really short, I mean really, really, really short. Under 5 feet short. Feel free to leave me some creative short jokes in the comments, I know most of them and think they are hilarious. Seriously, I have dressed up like a leprechaun for St. Patrick’s Day once and handed out gold coins– I have learned to embrace and laugh at my shortness!
  2. My favorite animal is the giraffe, which is ironic because I’m short and they’re really tall. But in seriousness, I really like their behavior and how people think they are super docile but they really aren’t- p.s. for anyone that didn’t know April the giraffe FINALLY gave birth. My second favorite animal would be leopards, I love their solitary social behavior and their elusiveness. I basically love any African animal, I sometimes watch live safaris on YouTube (if you haven’t ever watched one, you need to, they are life changing- I watch SafariLIVE – the guides are great). That was like three facts in one but oh well. (can you tell I’m a pre-vet student??)
  3. I am a skier! I LOVE skiing and the snow. Winter is the best season. I’ve been skiing since I was three and go to Colorado basically every year to get some skiing in for the year 🙂 If you don’t love snow and comfy sweaters and fireplaces and hot tea and all the other glorious things that come along with winter you are doing life wrong. But I do understand not liking the cold weather- I happen to LOVE IT- but I will give you that it isn’t always the best, but the rest of winter is FABULOUS (Any winter lovers out there? probably not. I have only met one other person who likes it as much as I do)

Jackie’s questions:

  1. What book have you reread the most?

Definitely the Harry Potter series. They were the first ‘real’ books I read and I ADORE them. I reread the series at least once a year and they were the first books I fangirled over as well. Although, A Court of Mist and Fury is getting there considering I have already read the book twice and I just read it for the first time a month ago.

     2. If you could pick a new name for yourself, what name would you pick?

I don’t mind my name so I probably wouldn’t change it, although my name is really common and I always had other girls in my class with the same name so if I were to change it I would make it something different and more unique! I really like the names Layla and Lilliana!

     3. What’s one book that you wish would be made into a movie?

Usually the movies are never as good as the books so I don’t know if I would wish a book to be made into a movie. But, if someone could make the movie exactly right, I would LOVE for An Ember in the Ashes and A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir to be made into movies (such a good series so far)!

     4. If you could bring one book character to life, who would it be and why?

CAN’T I BRING THEM ALL TO LIFE??? But I guess if I can ONLY choose ONE I would bring either Newt Scamander– I would love to have a convo about magical creatures, like I LOVE ANIMALS AND NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT MAGICAL ONES– or Pasha from The Crown’s Game, got to love me some Russian princes 🙂 (I would love to bring Rhysand to life if only so that I can marry him, but {fact learned in ACOMAF} soooo…..)

     5. What’s the last book you’ve read and would you recommend it?

The last book I completed was Replica by Lauren Oliver! I am hoping to post a full review about it here on the blog in the future, but ultimately yes I would recommend it! Its a really unique story line and although I only give it 3 stars, the overall background story about human cloning is really cool!

Tag your it!

I am tagging the following lovely bloggers:

Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm

The Book-Filled Day

Amber @ Secret Booktopia

Lenna @ Sugar Dusted Pages

Cait @ PaperFury

If you don’t want to do it or have already done it, no big deal! And if I didn’t tag you but you want to join in, feel free (the more the merrier)!

My questions for you are:

  1. What is your favorite underrated book and why?
  2. If you could tell a younger you one thing what would it be?
  3. What was something that you remember sparking your love of reading?
  4. What is an unpopular bookish opinion you stand by?
  5. If you could go to any book world, which one would you choose and why?

Thanks again to Jackie for tagging me- this post was super fun!

Happy Reading!
